Rosa had the opportunity to follow a Textile Minor at the Design Academy for six months. She gained a lot of (basic) knowledge by executing an hands-on approach.
Four times she had the possibility to work at the Textile Museum in Tilburg on two different techniques. One of the techniques she chose was embroidery.
While exploring the world of embroidery, she came up (together with her then working partner Lelya Kimel) with the concept to try and integrate the fluidity of watercoloring in this centuries old technique.
These samples are a work in progress, Lelya & Rosa worked in a experimental manner and free of reaching a very specific goal.
